Spiderman has a sidekick, Beetleboy!
Beetleboy arrives and is explained the situation
He chases the villain and cronies, fighting them off
Just before the villain is to drop the poison in the town fountain, BB turns off the master switch, stopping the fountain, saving the town.
The residents hail him as their hero
The day is declared Beetleboy day
A parade is given in his honor
The mayor presents him the key to the city
Beetleboy returns home, to his secret identity, nine year old Matthew
True story
Make A Wish Foundation grants wishes to terminally ill children
Most wishes are: go to DisneyWorld, meet sports hero or celebrity idol. There are also requests for vacations, computers, and other popular things. Occaisionally there is the particularly creative wish.
One little boy had decided that Spiderman should have a sidekick like other superheroes.
The decided that he was Spiderman's sidekick, Beetleboy
For his wish, Make A Wish got the cooperation of the town
The residents, mayor included, staged a villainous crisis, with Beetleboy chasing the bad guys around the town, culminating in him pulling a big lever shutting off the town fountain
There was a parade, and he was given the key to the city
